Advance: These tickets are bought in advance of travel (subject to availability). Advance tickets are Single (one-way) fares offering great value for money on longer distance journeys. They are only valid at the time specified on your ticket. These are no-refundable tickets but can be amended subject to a £10 admin fee. Off-Peak: These cheaper tickets are valid on services at quieter times of the day, and all day at weekends. Restricted times vary by journey, and will be advised to you when you purchase your ticket. More info can be found via www.chilternrailways.co.uk/off-peak-ticket
Super Off-Peak: These are the cheapest tickets you can buy on the day and are available for selected journeys. They are not valid for travel at busy times of the day, but are valid at all times at weekends. Restricted times vary by journey, and will be advised to you when you purchase your ticket.
Anytime: There are no restrictions on these tickets. These are the most flexible walk-up fares: there are no time restrictions at all and are suited to people who need complete flexibility. More info can be found via www.chilternrailways.co.uk/anytime-ticket
Duo Tickets: A Duo ticket is available for trains arriving in to London after 11:30 on weekdays or anytime at the weekend. Return travel is not allowed on any train timed to depart London before 08:30 or between 16:00 and 19:00 on weekdays. There are no return restrictions on weekends. Family Travelcard: These tickets can only be purchased up until 23:59 the day before travel. Family tickets are not available to purchase on the same day as you are travelling. These are only valid during Off-Peak quieter times and can be used for groups of 1 adult and 1 child, up to groups of 2 adults and 4 children travelling to London.
